No product, brand, or ingredient is named in our reviews until it has cleared each of the steps below. The full dossier for any published piece is available to subscribers on request.

We trace every ingredient back to the farm, cooperative, or wild-harvest region — with documentation.

Certification audit
We verify USDA Organic, EU Bio, Demeter, and Fair-for-Life claims against the issuing body's live registry.

Laboratory review
Independent labs test representative batches for solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals.

Scientific reading
A subject-matter advisor reviews any health, efficacy, or safety claims against peer-reviewed literature.

Right of reply
Brands receive findings before publication and a documented opportunity to respond on the record.
